Hello, just wanted to post again about us looking for people to do themed stuff for the site. We didn’t get any emails regarding it, but anyone with the skillset we’re still looking 🙂

It’s not a one and done gig! We want an ongoing relationship for other major holidays/months. (thanksgiving, Christmas, valentines, pride).

You can also leave comments on posts for ideas n stuff. We read all of them 🙂

Heya! We need to hire a few artists to do season related (Halloween) artwork for our site.

Some ideas:
Halloween theme for the website.
Reskin JS Oneko to be a skeleton that follows your mouse
Artwork such as cobwebs, spiders, pumpkins etc etc
A spooky version of the site logo

Ideas outside of this are also welcome, feel free to give us some in the comment section or at the email :3

Requirements:
The artist (you) needs to have expertise creating digital artwork and/or CSS styling. Multiple artists can be involved. You can test restyling of the website via the Stylish extension, please keep the changes largely CSS only, we can add extra image elements to the page if actually needed but most things can be done with pseudo elements. Due to the sensitive nature of the site all code will be reviewed and no direct backend access allowed.

No AI generated “artwork” will be accepted under any circumstance. We do not condone the replacement of artists and designers with robots.

Pay: We stand by artists and will not publish or use any example and/or finalized work sent to our email w/o working out agreeable terms for both parties. Pay can either be in preferential order of estrogen, site credit, crypto, or gift cards for most retailers.

by the way, you can leave comments on posts now, they have to be approved first but i’ll go through and read em. Typing and leaving messages here always seems like yelling into the void, even though the rational part of my brain can understand that people actually read this stuff.

Dunno, hope everyone is doing well. What felt like what was supposed to be the start of an era sometimes feels like I’ve lost something special. When I think back on some of the stuff that’s been happening the last few years sometimes I feel an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. Seems nowadays what I hear from a lot of people is blunted, no longer fresh like when things were new. Perhaps that’s just maturity in a situation, perhaps it’s just stability and it’s healthy. Feels a bit boring sometimes though.

By the way, I am one to talk but probably don’t put up flyers for diy in public bathrooms. Feels similar to preaching about MA at CPAC. Time and place people :3

Love you all. I hope that i’ll be able to open up a dialogue at some point, oftentimes feels like i’m working the line behind a one way mirror.
