Explainer on dosing schedule: Bicalutamide is a NSAA (non steroidal anti-androgen) with a serum blood half life of ~6 days, similar to Estradiol Enanthate’s half life. These 150mg capsules can not be split like pills, but are effective when taken every 3 days.

Bicalutamide has a favorable side effect profile when compared with other anti-androgens like cyproterone acetate (CPA) and is not associated with decreased bone mineral density, osteoporosis, or prolactinomas. For this reason, it has mostly replaced CPA in modern use.
